I’m Geraint, a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) based in Holyhead.

I became a driving instructor after seeing family members struggle to find an instructor with availability. Before becoming an ADI, I spent many years in retail management, where I trained and supported people from all walks of life. That experience taught me the importance of patience, clear communication and tailoring my approach to each individual—skills I now bring to every driving lesson.

I understand that learning to drive can feel daunting, especially for nervous learners. That’s why I aim to create a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can build confidence at your own pace. My goal isn’t just to help you pass your driving test, but to help you become a safe, confident and independent driver for life.

Lessons are taught in a manual Vauxhall Corsa. While lessons are generally conducted in English, I’m also a fluent Welsh speaker and am happy to teach in Welsh if preferred.

I normally teach Monday to Friday. However, if one of my pupils has a driving test approaching, I’m happy to offer additional support where possible, including weekend lessons to help them prepare
